Gonna try to sometimes upload to this website
If they allowed .wav files, i'd be more encouraged to upload more music

Mmm if there's a single place worth uploading to I'd consider it this one. ;) But of course if you want to grow an audience there's a bit less of that here. Devoted fans and artists alike, but not droves of 'em like you can get elsewhere if you really get the spotlight.
Maybe you'd find this useful: https://www.postybirb.com/
I haven't tried it myself, but have seen it used by other users for art in particular, if it works for audio too it could speed up your workflow a bit... it's made to make posting across platforms easier.
Thanks!
And sorry for the late response also, been on a digital detox a few months! XD
Hopefully you're still around!
A little bit!

Glad you're back at it here too. :) It's interesting that NG actually did allow WAV files in the beginning, when the Audio Portal first launched in 2003 or so. They were ahead of their time then.
I guess they might've moved to mp3 exclusively to save on space, or bandwidth, but maybe there were other technicalities involved. Maybe it's easier to read/write metadata with mp3, maybe the old visualizer only worked with mp3, maybe there were file verification/malware type considerations, maybe it's just the format most users preferred... at 320 kbps though I don't think mp3 sounds bad at all either way!
Hope you don't let it keep you from uploading good music! You could always link to a higher-definition version somewhere else, till the day NG maybe changes their filetype allowances too.

I would like to use Newgrounds more too, but i do admit that it is a bit of a hassle to upload to so many different websites, even though i have a nostalgia soft spot for this place (and how it is not corrupted by the greed of the modern internet)
